dunking on the last day of school (::
whee! i had so much fun last week!!
i had no time to on my computer that's why im only posting about last week tonight. get it? :D
ok so...
where shall i start?
i shall start on the last day of school!
it was on a thursday,i had geography remedial from 8.30 to 10am and met amanda,nana,veg,yi xuan,rachel,and pumbaa after that.
then we walked around until i said i wanted to watch ppl get dunked at the dunking area...whatever that's called...?
yeah, so we went and met hannah there who volunteered to get dunked.
we waited for ages until FINALLY she appeared dressed...
we waited AGAIN for her to get herself mentally prepared until FINALLY she sat on the seat to be dunked
then EVERYONE agreed to get ME dunked! even i agreed(i don't mind), although i said it wasn't worth paying to dunk me
but they still insisted...
rachel paid $6 bucks, see how willing she is to watch me get dunked? wow.
ok i got dressed...or more like i just took out my pinafore
and sat on that plank thingy...
LET ME TELL YOU HOW FREAKING SCARY IT WAS TO SIT ON THE EDGE OF THE PLANK, WITH FREEZING COLD AND NOT-SO-CLEAN WATER AT MY FEET.
i had to keep lifting up my feet from the water cause it was so coooold...brrr...
ok so...
who threw the ball first?
ahh... yi xuan went up first...
even before i could COMPOSE myself(no seriously-I WAS SCARED,i really was panicking), yi xuan threw the ball and guess what? she managed to push the lever with the ball!! when it was already difficult to move the lever...sigh...
so i'll skip the falling part??
NO i shan't.
I FELL.
into the FREEZING COLD water.
i was shaking from head to toe okayy?!
i couldn't even climb out of the pool properly.
oh yeah, i forget to add one more horrifying thing...
THERE WERE TEACHERS WATCHING ME GET DUNKED.
isn't that interesting??
there were...let's see...miss ng, mr seow, miss ho...?mrs thomsett?
at least three of the teachers there who watched me were my subject teachers...WOW.
who went up next?
was it nana? or yi xuan again?
haaha, im SURE yi xuan missed the second time!!
i panicked so much that i couldn't keep track who dunked me...
i remembered asking rachel to throw the ball cause i was hoping she would miss... i mean she would have a higher chance to miss than yi xuan and so i would have a lower chance to fall into the water for the second or third time...
OH BUT I REMEMBERED WHO WAS THE LAST ONE WHO DUNKED ME!!!
let me explain: if you pay $6, you get a 'sure-dunk', meaning that after 6 throws, you get an additional push on the lever and there goes the person sitting on the plank.rachel paid six dollars to get me dunked.
and AMANDA went up to push the lever!!!
i wanted to stop her cause i needed time to calm myself down but before i could relax, amanda just plainly walked forward and pushed it. i can still mentally visualise her walking so excitedly and push the lever and the next scene was me in the water.
the SLs scolded me cause i held the seat...apparently,my hand would be chopped off if i put my hand there, which i did but i think i let go mid-way...lucky!
it was soooo scary!! omg...
even after getting dunked for the second time, i was still quite scared...
you don't know how relieved i felt whenever someone missed the lever!
sad to say almost all of jjang contributed to my dunking!
rachel-paid $6 for six throws and one push on the lever
pumbaa- the camera girl, meaning she videoed me. SEND ME THE VIDEOs OKAY?
veggie-laughed at me
yi xuan- did most of the throwing and managed to get me dunked at least twice!
nana- threw once
amanda- OH SO HAPPILY PUSHED THE LEVER. WAHLAO.
too bad maria wasn't there MWAHAHAHA!!
talking about that...
miss ho was watching me right? how embarrassing...
yeah, then she went up on the plank after me.
LOL. she was hilarious.
sooo many ppl were willing to pay to dunk her!!
HAHA. i remembered once when someone dunked her and after she got out of the pool, she said to that girl that she'll do something to her A Maths test marks next year! haha!
the funniest was when mr seow dunked her too.
lets move on...
after funfair, we gathered at the chapel and watched a video done by miss ho.
oh maria, you were up there in the video too! and you were looking so sweetly at the camera!! awww!! i wonder who was behind the camera then...hmmm... O.O
and i cried a lot cause...ok i shall not say... but im so sorry to some ppl who got influenced by me too...
oh pumbaa! im so sorry! next time when u see me cry, pls don't cry too ok? haha.
then GB ANNUAL CAMP 2008 STARTED AT 3PM!!
sigh...why is it over now...it was sooo sooo soo fun!
i shan't type too much now...
it's midnight already
maybe i'll post about GB ANNUAL CAMP on another day (::
i'd better sleep now.

YAY! I WON!
haha
we just had inter-house today!!
i was in the badminton team 1, with six other members.
brought my PRECIOUS YET STINKY ARMORTEC 900 POWER!
i think i should change the grip to a different type,i noticed this type is very absorbent, absorb the sweat a lot
anyways, we played against blackmore first
i partnered gail and played against nicole hiorns and her partner.
it was hilarious when nicole kept using her hand to return the ball back haha
then, we played against lee...quite fast lah...i had to admit,there wasn't much playing...
then came the olsen team
they were stronger than the lee and blackmore teams but they were easy to play against too...
except that the first two pairs lost to olsen so the point went to them(winning best of three) and they won
but i still had to play even if they won, so yeah, i played but knowing we'll still be in second place anyway, which is quite good already (:
I MISS PLAYING REAL BADMINTON!!
i haven't played TRUE badminton for...12 days!! OMG! i usually play badminton once a week on saturdays but cause we had jjang party on last saturday night so i had to sacrifice my badminton for it.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROW'S BADMINTON!!!!!!!!!!
finally can THRASH IT ALL OUT with and against ru qin!
oh shoot, ru qin is not coming for badminton...NO!!
boohoo.... nvm, i'll play against my dad then.
i love playing against people who are either better than me or AT LEAST my equal
i acutally don't like playing badminton for the sake of winning, i like badminton because of the challenge!
aww man...badminton rocks!!
sigh,it's too bad there aren't anyone who's my equal in my school, which is why im intending to train my friends to be my standard...
then again, it is much harder to teach badminton...the most efficient way to master badminton is to play with a good partner but against opponents who are better than you

im so going to take a badminton CCA once i get to a tertiary school!
it's too bad MGS does not have one...
anyway,yeah, im glad i won silver for badminton but im not satisfied, i DESPERATELY wanted gold.
i should be contented though...

my dream
wow, jjang party ended yesterday. time flies so fast.
we all know how we felt on that night, so i shall skip that part.
what's gotten me confused was a dream i had on the night that we had our barbeque, which was last night.
don't know what it meant but i've got mixed feelings about it...
for those curious to know, i'll summarise the dream for you:
i dreamt about the jjang bbq thing and someone(i cannot disclose) was in trouble so i went to er... save her but i end up dying, except the person was saved.
i know, it sounds so heroic and all, but i know in real life i wont have the courage to do it, so spare me all the flattery (:
anyway, yeah, i felt good that i've saved someone but what made me ponder for a long time was the fact that i just died so easily. let me explain: i'm not afraid of death, i'm just afraid that i still have a lot of things to say to my family, my friends, my teachers and acquaintances but it was too late to say it...i died before i could say it.
this dream taught me a lesson, to treasure every single moment of my life and the time spent with my loved ones.
so here i go---
to all you ppl out there, my parents,grandparents,uncles,aunties,cousins,jjang friends,friends,teachers,and anyone else whom i know but left out:
i love you and i'll love you always, don't worry about me cause after i 'die', i'll be in heaven with God
so yeah. that's all. im just really grateful that God has given me the chance to know such loving people.
sigh. i pray i won't die a painful death...maybe of old age? yeah, it sounds less painful and more decent.
i can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
haha,thinking about the dream now really makes me feel good.
i mean like duh! you'll feel good if you've saved someone's life right? haha.
oh, but when i woke up, i could see my pillow wet with tears and sweat, my face too.
i could tell i cried a lot,and i remembered hearing myself cry.
i felt such a relief when i woke up and realised it was a bad dream, i mean the dream was soooo real and convincing! too bad i've got such good imagination! (i remembered scaring myself just cause i imagined a ghost)
oops, i think i just announced to the whole world i cried while i slept :S
haha, who cares anyway, what so bad about crying? it's not like crying makes you a coward.
should i disclose who it was that almost died? hmmm...
well then, it's time to stop...and get ready for a another dream...i think?? haha :D
oh yeah, if anything really happens, pls tell my parents that i love them.

better thank me for sacrificing my time just to update for you
just to let you know, there's a lot of jjang gathering going on right now...most if not all are tentative so yeah. but they're COMPULSORY.
so here goes:

time - whole day if you want to... ends at around 10pm
WHAT TO BRING-important!!
- SWIM SUIT >> last time SOME PPL did not bring it and therefore missed out on the fun, either that, they had to swim in the pool with ordinary clothes on and caused the guard to chase you out... SO BRING THE DARN SUIT.
- TWO SETS OF CLOTHES
- food

- handphone
- LOTS OF MONEY

MONDAY: 11 OCT 2008
event- marking day
venue- vivocity
time- 10am meeting at dover mrt station
veggie and i have planned to go there just to slack, shop, and must of all, watch house bunny! WHICH MEANS MARIA, YOU HAVE TO GO CAUSE WE NEED YOU TO TEACH US...we know you are experienced in such movies yeah??
ok so...waht to bring??: money,ez link card, phone, yourself...that's about it...
and get ready to spend a lot...or maybe not. ahaha
there's one more gathering but i'll post about it when it gets nearer! just to let you guys know, it's on 24 oct, last day of school and mini fair day so we can go highlight our hair and turn it bright orange!! yay!
